Before leaving hospital
Why there is no single recovery timeline
The procedure, anaesthesia, other health conditions, type of work and any complications affect recovery. Going home does not mean being ready for every activity. Your operating team’s instructions take priority.
If you are worried
Use the contact route in your discharge instructions. Severe or worsening symptoms, heavy bleeding, faintness, chest pain or difficulty breathing need urgent medical care. Do not wait for a routine online reply.
